Wireman

General

         Wireman is a top-view game that can be played by 1 or 2 players. In the game process, the player(s) is/are controlling two cyborgs connected by laser beams, trying to survive endless waves of enemies in a cyberpunk world. The only weapon they have is the laser between them.

World Setting

         In Gliton, a cyberpunk city ruled by syndicates and gangsters, cyborgs are being produced as cheap labor force and treated inhumanly. One night, two cyborgs, equipped with stolen laser launchers, broke out from their factory to search for freedom. But they got trapped in a maze and the company’s mercenaries were waiting for them. That’s how the story started.

Gameplay

         

         Player(s) can use WASD and arrow keys to move two cyborgs, press left shift or right shift to teleport one cyborg to the other one. Laser beams are launched from each cyborg to the other, reflected by walls they hit. Enemies can be damaged and killed when hit by lasers. Both cyborgs’ HP will recover a bit when one enemy is killed.  

          Walls play multiple roles in the game experience. They are obstacles for both players and enemies; they can block enemies’ bullets and rockets; they can reflect lasers launched by players
